Mining Software from Flairbase
Flairbase is group of former Noranda professionals who purchased the software and offers it to the mining industry. The package includes products for mine design, resource evaluation and interpolation, drilling and blasting, scheduling, document management, emissions control, mine production data entry and reporting, mine safety, and more.
- The Amine product is mine design software for the AutoCAD platform to manage drawings, design layouts, evaluate resources, work in 3D or with 2D sections, design drilling and blasting layouts, perform automated surveys, and much more. The software has open design, but appears to be stronger in underground design.
- The SIMS product is a mine production management system that keeps track of mining activities, equipments, locations, people, and consumables.
- MSR produces long-term and short-term schedules over the entire life of a mine.
- The MineSafe product keeps track of all safety incidents, issues, causes, and statistics. It helps management by assigning safety responsibilities and keeping track of them.
Other products include:
- Graphical Survey System, Survey with a motorized machine and with the click of a button turn the data into 3D Graphical tunnels, benches and pits
- DEEMS integrates diagnostic and condition-based maintenance tools for managing diesel engine emissions and performance.
- Corelog is a geological data capture and data management application. Collect data in a mobile setting or connect to a centralized database. Produce QA/QC reports for financial institutions, stock exchanges and investors with the click of a button

NETPRO/Mine™ Integrated Solution in Ore Body Modeling and Mine Planning
NETPRO/Mine™ is a Netcad® module in which all the stages of ore body modeling and mine planning can be performed. It provides tools for data input, 3D visualization and digitization, digital terrain model (DTM) construction, geological solid modeling, block modeling, classical and geostatistical resource and reserve estimation, mine design and planning. They also provide software solutions CAD, GIS, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Surveying, Cadastre, Irrigation, Agriculture, Road Design, Channel and Dam Design, Urban Planning, and Mine Engineering.
Software features include the following:
- Data Input and Drill Hole Logging using Access and GIS, filtering, compositing.
- Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) including cross sections and road design.

- Volumetric Operations includes the ability to construct a new solid from intersection or union of two volumes and generate a DTM inside or outside a volume.

Bentley Powermap
Bentley PowerMap* provides powerful and precise geospatial data creation, maintenance and analysis. Users can easily integrate data from a wide variety of geospatial data sources into engineering and mapping workflows. Multiple data types with varying coordinate systems are also transformed ‘on-the-fly’ as they are integrated with Bentley PowerMap V8i. Bentley PowerMap V8i supports extensive spatial analysis, thematic mapping and presentation. These capabilities include tools for creating buffers and performing topology overlays. Bentley PowerMap V8i is a standalone application and does not require MicroStation as a prerequisite.
The software contains tools for data collection, editing, clean up, analysis, and map printing. It allows direct design file editing including 3D editing. In addition to reading CAD files, Bentley PowerMap can also natively read ESRI SHP files as well as other industry-standard raster and vector file formats. Standard and spatial datasets can be accessed by Bentley PowerMap, including Oracle Spatial. All accessible data formats, without exception, can be interrogated spatially using a variety of analysis tools.
An enhanced tool for modeling and defining geospatial features called the Geospatial Administrator is included. The data administration tool lets users quickly define standards for GIS features, including attributes, symbology, and behaviors. This stand-alone application also provides a platform to support custom geospatial workflow development.
